How many pictures will we receive?
We have different packages which all have smaller and larger sets of images included. However, all packages have the option of adding extra images you may choose when you preview and order your images for downloading.
What should I bring for my boudoir session?
Boudoir shoots are not only in lingerie. You are welcome to bring along anything you feel close to or which you feel may add to a beautiful image. We also have various outfits and props available which you are welcome to use for your photoshoot at no extra cost. You may wish to use your shoot as an excuse to spoil yourself with a special piece of lingerie.
I am really nervous. Is this normal?
This is normal, so don't worry. Probably 99% of clients are when they first get started. However, within 5-10 minutes of the session, most women not only feel comfortable, but also confident and beautiful. We are careful and always want you comfortable at all times.
How do I prepare for my photoshoot?
We email documentation to help you with preparing for your shoot. We have a few preparation tips and guide you throughout the process.
How do I know how to pose?
Not only will we have discussed possible genres during our telephonic consultations, but also in the last few days leading up to your photoshoot. Upon arrival, we show you many examples of poses that relate to your desired outcome, but also take you through each pose during the photoshoot. Having done this a long time, we know many tricks to create the most flattering angles you have not seen of yourself. We are looking to capture your spirit also and not just the outer body around your soul.
Do you do outdoor boudoir sessions?
We definitely like doing shoots outdoors and find private surroundings and beaches where we are able to do so. It is important that we do not attract people to photoshoots and therefor always use secluded areas.
What indoor venues are you able to do my photoshoot at?
We have different settings available for boudoir as well as fine art photoshoots. Sometimes, clients prefer to do photoshoots at their residences, and other times we make use of lodges or hotels, as these are always safe and controlled venues.
How long does it take to get my images?
We have editing and retouching to do before we release images for you to choose from. The average time is between 1-2 weeks from date of the photoshoot. You will have your own online gallery which is password protected, where you will also be able to select and download your images from.
What is the best way to display my photos?
There are many options available. We can do albums, photo boxes, art, wall art and everything in between. Don't forget to discuss the options so you get exactly what you are hoping for.
Do I have control over who sees my images?
Privacy is of utmost importance to us. We provide you with your own online gallery which is password protected, where you will also be able to select and download your images from. From there, you can choose who you wish to allow to have a look at your images.
Will my photos be published online or used on your website?
No photoshoot can commence unless an official and binding Model Release Form is signed by yourself and us. In this document, we describe the permissions (if any) granted between yourself and us. We will never publish any image without having written permission to do so. It is entirely up to you whether or not your images get shared online and we respect your wishes if you prefer them to remain private.
Do you offer a referral or returning customer discount?
We love both! As a thank you for referrals, we offer a 50% discount on your next photoshoot. All returning customer receive a 25% discount on their next photoshoot. We want you happy, but also to come back for another photoshoot!
What happens next?
After your photoshoot, your images are inspected and professionally retouched and air-brushed to make you look flawless whilst keeping your natural features. Your stretchmarks and scars will disappear together with anything you may be concerned about. You may have discussed some of this during your photoshoot.
Who else will be present in the studio for my shoot & can I bring a friend?
Only the photographer and studio assistant are present during photoshoots. The assistant may assist with posing, hair and make-up, etc and also with working lighting, props and refreshments needed. You are in very capable hands and with people who care about you throughout the photoshoot. We do not prefer that you bring along a friend, as it sometimes distracts and slows down the momentum in the studio.
Will I see my photos immediately after the photoshoot?
Very few photographers, if any, will show work that is not final and that have not gone through the processes of post -production editing. You may be shown a number of shots during the shoot so as to explain a pose or other, but it is preferable to surprise you with the final set of works instead.
Can I choose my hair and make-up, or even do it myself?
The genre chosen for your photoshoot will mostly guide you how to do your hair and make-up, though we do offer advice. We will consult with you before your make-over starts. We do advise professional services, but will be happy to book you should you prefer to do this by yourself. Note that all need to be done prior to arriving for the photoshoot, as you pay for the total time spent at the studio.
What’s the best time to have a maternity or mother & baby photo session?
Maternity photoshoots are normally done up to 36weeks if health permits. We do not want to do anything which may cause unnecessary stress of physical difficulty. It may be best to call us to discuss individual circumstances - we will be happy to oblige accordingly. Being parents ourselves, we understand babies and children - you are welcome to make a booking at any time.
